We aim to elevate the quality of people’s lives through architecture by creating spaces that inspire discovery. DESIGN+CONSTRUCTION SERVICES

We have combined over 50 years of experience in design and construction.  Ranging from the design of an energy efficient skyscraper in Manhattan, a museum for the city of Galicia in Spain to custom homes in the Berkshires, Hamptons, Hawaii and beyond. We have the expertise to conceive, design, document, estimate, construct and complete projects + landscapes for a variety of programs and scales.

p+c  project types include:

• New construction and Renovation of Single Family/ Multi family residential houses and buildings;
  
• Commercial programing and design for companies and art institutions; 
  
• Interior Design including custom furniture and lighting. 

In addition to Design+Construction services, we offer: 

• Site procurement;
• Site analysis and siting for High Performing Buildings;
• Interior air quality and comfort consultation including ventilation, insulation and air tightness; 
• Building and Energy Code compliance consultation+coordination with consultants using Building Information Management (BIM) software;
• Market analysis;

BASIC SERVICES
After an initial interview when the desires + dislikes are aired, we enter into the first of four phases:

• Pre-Construction: Replaces traditional Schematic Design+Design Development as we work in tandem to design and price the design, working on efficiencies and feasibililty of the proposal. During this time we are defining scope, planning and procuring all materials necessary to complete the project including windows, skylight, tile, stone, and other finishes;
  
• Contract Documents: Prepare detailed working drawings and specifications for construction;
  
• Construction: Full integration of design and construction through completion.

Throughout every phase, budgets are created and updated. By the end of Contract Documents, a final price is established for the project.
